All About Obi
Obi Holly is a multi-talented creative artist and executive with a range of skills, including rapping, directing, producing, and disrupting the tech industry. He is also a specialist in Ancient Egyptian culture and a connoisseur of DC's unique Go-Go music genre. Growing up in an activist household in Washington, DC, Obi was exposed to the arts at an early age, which led him to form his first Go-Go Band at just 11 years old. He recognized the lack of technological resources in his community and started a computer club at age 12 with the help of a teacher.

After attending Clark Atlanta University, where he studied film and signed as a rap artist, Obi became a top producer and director at Black Entertainment Television (BET). He created multiple documentaries, produced TV specials, and established the longest-running Hip Hop TV shows in history, 'Rap City' and 'Rap City Da Basement'.

Later, Obi and his family moved to Los Angeles to pursue their media ventures and support their children's entertainment industry aspirations. In 2019, he combined his passion for streetwear fashion and recognition of the need for technological access in underserved communities to launch HOODBOT, shortly followed by the release of his first collection of NFTs. Obi has also directed television shows such as 'Spade A Spade' and 'Road to Homecoming' on HBCOGO, as well as many special projects for TV One. He will also be releasing his first album, "Watermelon," in 2023.

Obi brings his extensive knowledge of Ancient Egyptian culture and love for GO-GO music into his work as a rapper, director, and producer. He is also a proud member of the pan-African community and offers positive entertainment outlets through events like his annual Ujima Joint Kwanzaa celebration. Obi Holly is an entrepreneurial visionary whose HOODBOT clothing brand merges his passions for music, fashion, and tech to uplift and inspire. In everything he does, Obi strives to create unique experiences that fuse creativity, culture, and style.
